Eden Scott is delighted to be supporting our well established client with the recruitment of a Paraplanner to join their team. ABOUT THE ROLE: Working with a team of Paraplanners to prepare written advice reports and provide technical support to a team of Financial Planners. Ensure that the preparation of advice for clients is of the highest quality and delivered in an efficient manner whilst mitigating any risks to the business and assisting with the achievement of business targets. Permanent and full time. Office based, with the option to work from home one day per week on successful completion of the necessary training and probation period. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and colleagues. * Accurately and efficiently support the Financial Planners to enable the achievement of targets and meet client expectations. * Full analysis of client requirements, development of cash flow models and accurate recording of client data. * Undertake comparative research in preparation of client recommendations. * Accurately prepare suitability reports and letters to agreeable timescales. * Schedule and prepare client reviews, updating cash flow models, performance analysis, production of supporting reports and identifying opportunities and threats. * Maintain core systems ensuring that all tasks are carried out and completed in line with the company policy and procedures. * Maintain awareness of, and act in accordance with, all Compliance and legislative obligations. * Liaise with clients by telephone, email, letter and attend meetings if required. * Ensure that client queries are appropriately investigated, and accurate responses given. * Work with other professional advisers e.g. solicitors and accountants to implement an agreed action plan. * Regularly participate in team meetings, including highlighting issues and owning actions through to resolution. * Complete projects identified for the overall team to enhance services within the team or wider group. * Proactively enhance industry and company knowledge, through external and internal sources and maintaining an accurate CPD log.
