Your new company
Finding the right role takes careful consideration – and we’re lifelong partners that can help you on your journey towards success. Here, with you every step of the way, we can connect you with opportunities that match your priorities and goals. Because at Hays, we’re working for your tomorrow.
You will be working for a market leader that has exclusive partnerships with schools across Canterbury, Kent.
Hays has various teaching opportunities with our Partnership Schools across the Canterbury area. These opportunities are on a permanent, long-term or daily supply cover basis. Due to an increase in demand from schools in your local area, we are looking for experienced primary teachers to take up the multiple positions we have available.
Your new role
You will have the opportunity to work in a role that is flexible around your needs and teaching style. Working for Hays will enable you to work on a full-time or part-time basis to suit your commitments. As a Hays Teacher, you will be able to work in a variety of schools, from small village schools to large, multi-form entry schools.
What you'll need to succeed
To be a Primary Supply Teacher, you need qualified teacher status or be working towards your induction year. You should have recent classroom experience within the last five years and be familiar with recent curriculum changes. You should be a creative, positive teacher who can adapt to new environments and demonstrate professionalism. Strong classroom management skills and good communication skills are essential, especially when liaising with TAs and school staff.
What you'll get in return
You will be paid a competitive daily wage based on your experience and the responsibilities of each assignment, with holiday pay accrued and available for use at any time of the year. You will receive free, up-to-date safeguarding training, and the option to join our ‘guarantee pay scheme’ is available. You will enjoy working in a variety of primary, infant, and junior schools, supported by a dedicated primary teaching consultant specializing in Kent. Additionally, you can earn £250 vouchers for each colleague you refer to Hays who secures work.
