We are recruiting a Finance Analyst for a leading FMCG business, supporting the UK and European finance team. This role is ideal for a part‑qualified or newly qualified accountant who wants strong exposure to monthly financial accounting, reporting and analysis in a fast‑paced environment.
What you will do:
Run monthly financial accounting processes, including journals, accruals, prepayments and other month‑end adjustments.
Prepare monthly P&L and balance sheet reports for UK and European entities.
Perform monthly variance analysis versus budget, forecast and prior year, highlighting risks and opportunities.
Support monthly group reporting, ensuring accurate and timely submission of results and key KPIs.
Assist with quarterly and annual budgeting and forecasting, providing clear, simple analysis for stakeholders.
Work with the Shared Service Centre to resolve accounting queries and improve end‑to‑end processes.
Help with audit requirements by preparing schedules and supporting documentation.
What we are looking for:
Part‑qualified or newly qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ICAEW or similar).
Experience in a finance, accounting or analyst role, with exposure to month‑end and management reporting.
Good Excel skills and confidence working with large data sets.
Strong attention to detail and able to work to tight month‑end deadlines.
Clear communicator, comfortable working with both finance and non‑finance teams.
