The post-holder will have a proven track record in a similar role, working on high end, technology-based projects within an engineering environment. This will be an active role focused on ensuring that products are manufactured to the correct quality standards using various machining activities. Main Duties and Responsibilities * Responsible for programming, setting and running CNC machines (Mazak Lathes, XYZ Lathes with Siemens Control, XYZ milling machines with Siemens controls and Fanuc based mills and lathes) for production and development work. * Ability to improve to an already effective production strategy and to make themselves aware of the product quality, departmental objectives and health and safety requirements. * Maintain an environment of continuous improvement and working practices.
