Your work will directly impact our rapid growth and help us positively impact the delivery of urgent care within the NHS. You will work directly with customers and our technical Co-CEO to quickly understand their greatest key challenges and opportunities, and design and implement solutions to meet their requirements. You will also have the opportunity to work alongside our world-leading partners including Apple, Palantir, GE and Oracle to name a few and have the support of an incredibly talented engineering team. Duties Design and Architecture : Design comprehensive software integration solutions to connect a variety of internal and external systems, ensuring seamless data flow Collaborate with stakeholders to understand integration needs and translate them into technical designs Development and Implementation : Develop integration code, components, and interfaces using relevant programming languages and technologies Manage and deploy integrations to various environments (development, testing, production) Testing and Troubleshooting : Create and execute thorough test plans to verify integrations function as intended Troubleshoot integration issues, debugging, and optimising performance Documentation : Maintain clear technical documentation for integration processes, dependencies, and troubleshooting guides Customer and Partner Collaboration : Proactively engage with customers to understand their integration needs and challenges, driving solution development Work closely with our partners to build eloquent integrations to their systems and services Willingness and interest to travel as needed to client sites all across the UK Key Responsibilities Staying Up-to-Date : Keep abreast of the latest integration technologies, tools, and methodologies to ensure Alertive maintains a cutting-edge approach Cross-Team Collaboration : Work closely with engineering, operations, and customer success teams to ensure integrations align with overall business goals Problem Solving & Innovation : Apply a creative and solutions-oriented mindset to resolve complex integration challenges Data Integrity : Prioritise data security and consistency throughout all integration processes Adaptability : Be ready to rapidly adapt and adjust integration strategies to stay in sync with the fast-paced startup environment What we are looking for: Industry experience working with multiple programming languages A deep understanding of security principles and the ability to apply this to every level of work Industry experience working with a variety of database platforms Industry experience working with cloud solutions such as AWS A natural curiosity to learn, improve and re-think Someone who is comfortable asking challenging questions and getting to the bottom of the problem Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and someone who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including NHS stakeholders Someone who is highly self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong attention to detail Someone who is motivated beyond the net outcome we are looking to achieve and comfortable working in a constantly evolving environment with dynamic objectives and iteration with customers and users What we’d really like (But not essential): A deep understanding of the AWS ecosystem Experience working with XMPP and ejabberd Experience working with Erlang and/or Elixir A degree level qualification in the field of Computer Science of similar Experience working within the healthcare industry Why us?
