Job Description
We are looking for a Talented and experienced Pastry Chef to join our culinary team. This role is ideal for a creative and skilled pastry professional with a passion for producing high-quality desserts and patisserie for afternoon teas and events.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and present a variety of pastries, cakes, desserts, and sweet treats to a consistently high standard
* Produce patisserie for afternoon tea service, special events, and functions
* Maintain excellent food quality, presentation, and attention to detail
* Follow food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards at all times
* Manage time effectively to meet service deadlines and production schedules
* Contribute ideas for new desserts and seasonal menu development
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in professional pastry work
* Strong technical skills in patisserie, baking, and dessert preparation
* Experience producing high-volume pastry for events or hospitality is desirable
* Passion for creativity, quality, and presentation
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Team player with a positive and professional attitude
