Field Based | National Travel | Upto £57,000 FTC 2 years
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager to join the Estates’ Team on a 2‑year fixed‑term contract. The focus of this position will be to manage multiple refurbishment projects in our licensed premises ranging from multi‑site rollouts to large capex projects.
Key Attributes & Responsibilities
* Working with internal and external stakeholders to interpret briefs, maximise investment returns and manage format designs.
* Managing projects to ensure briefs are met, projects handed over successfully on time and within budget.
* Managing a range of projects from roll‑outs to major capex (value £5k–£500k).
* Advising on and complying with statutory requirements, maintenance implications and other risks.
* Managing and reporting costs versus budget across the project programme.
* Co‑ordinating and informing contractors/suppliers to ensure programme and budget are achieved; communicating issues internally.
* Communicating key project dates to relevant internal and external contacts.
* Working in conjunction with in‑house design team to advise on scheme design.
Ideal Candidate
* Professional qualification in a construction‑based discipline or experience in a similar role.
* Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
* Proven project management skills with ability to manage performance of contractors, suppliers and consultants.
* Proven leadership skills.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Willingness to travel throughout the estate.
* Enjoys working in a busy team environment.
* Detailed knowledge of Planning Control, Building Regulations, Legal Compliance and Licensing requirements.
* Able to communicate and influence effectively with a range of internal and external customers.
* Strong record of financial control and budget management.
* Sound multi‑site experience in the licensed, leisure or retail sectors.
* Possess excellent commercial awareness.
