SEN Tutor Salary: £25 - £35 Per hour Job Duties: 1. Provide specialised tutoring to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). 2. Develop and implement tailored learning plans for each student based on their individual requirements. 3. Utilise various teaching strategies and resources to support the academic progress and overall development of SEN students. 4. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to ensure a holistic approach to student learning. 5. Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting teaching methods as necessary. Required Qualifications: - Relevant qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN) teaching - Teaching experience in SEN education - Strong understanding of SEN regulations and best practises Education: - Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in SEN education Knowledge and Skills: - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of SEN students - Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications: - Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN) - Experience working with a variety of SEN conditions Working Conditions: - Part-Time hours, temporary position - Work closely with students, teachers, and parents - Potential for remote or in-person tutoring sessions - Adherence to SEN regulations and safeguarding policies All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
