The Senior Manager, Lodging Benefit & Partner Marketing position is an exciting opportunity to lead the international marketing strategy for two flagship lodging benefits designed for our premium Card Members. This role will be responsible for elevating our strategic partners and benefits across marketing channels, driving value for our critical external travel partners and deepening Card Member engagement with their lodging benefits. The successful candidate will be a strong marketer and innovator who is comfortable influencing internal partners and collaborating with external travel partners and who will bring a deep understanding of international markets and the ability to think broadly and strategically to shape market direction and guide execution through cross-functional collaboration. This role requires excellent judgment, analytical rigor, and the ability to influence and align senior stakeholders to deliver on long-term business objectives. Join a dynamic marketing organization and be part of a central team leading hotel benefit marketing strategy Key Responsibilities Partner Marketing Define the International Partner Marketing strategy for our lodging partners (2,000 hotels), supporting the launch of marketing initiatives across TLS and Enterprise channels across the international markets. Manage external partner communication, including consulting on marketing strategies to drive growth, build/present quarterly marketing reviews to strategic lodging partners and evolve partner marketing reporting capabilities to effectively communicate the value of marketing. Provide thought leadership and partner with key internal stakeholders to unlock new opportunities and influence how our strategic partners and benefits show up in new channels Partner with external agencies to support marketing workstreams Lodging Benefit Marketing Strategy Develop cross-channel marketing strategies for Amex Travel’s lodging benefits, collaborating with enterprise teams Lead annual strategic marketing planning, budgeting, and calendar development for marketing messaging Design and develop a strategic high performing marketing and communications plans that drives Card Member engagement Create and manage centralized marketing assets, including toolkits to enable benefit marketing integration across the enterprise Manage marketing governance process to ensure alignment with benefit positioning strategy and compliance / brand standards Own curated international offers strategy, collaborating closely with Lodging Strategic Partnerships team, external lodging partners, and cross functional partners across the enterprise. Collaborate with Digital Customer Experience team on uplifting of Card Member digital experiences to support benefit engagement and usage Manage a direct report Minimum Qualifications: Extensive marketing experience. University Degree (or equivalent) preferably in marketing Strategic marketer and critical thinker able to articulate strategy to senior audiences and convert into clear, actionable plans Experienced in partnerships, travel, loyalty, or premium consumer marketing Demonstrated partner management experience and a growth mindset, including a track record of success building/nurturing relationships with internal/external partners. Impactful and efficient communicator with ability to simplify complex messages into clear and actionable recommendations and confidently deliver to variety of audiences High level of motivation, ability to act autonomously to drive forward partnerships, strong work ethic with comfort working in a dynamic, evolving, and fast paced international team Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills to synthesize insights and inform strategies.
