About the Role We’re looking for a senior, hands-on Sales Director to lead net-new growth for Verve Intelligent Personas & Simulations — a next-generation AI insight solution trusted by brands like Samsung, Mars, and Unilever. You’ll lead strategic sales conversations with senior stakeholders in insight, marketing, innovation and strategy — helping them reimagine how they activate insight and unlock commercial value through simulation. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role. You’ll own the full deal cycle — from first contact through to commercial close — working closely with sector leads, strategists, and product specialists. Key Responsibilities Pipeline Ownership Create, qualify, and convert new opportunities across FMCG, retail, tech, financial services and media Drive urgency and reframe client needs using Challenger-style commercial storytelling Develop a healthy pipeline of 75 qualified opportunities with clear progression logic Client Engagement & Scoping Lead discovery calls and frame sharp, contextual solutions based on role, use case and sector Shape high-value proposals with a clear ROI, pilot-to-scale logic, and time-to-value lens Engage multiple senior stakeholders across complex buying groups Proposal Development & Conversion Collaborate with strategy and product teams to build compelling, creative proposals Own commercial conversations, from pricing to procurement — with senior support as needed De-risk decisions for clients through structured pilots, phased approaches, and outcome framing Internal Collaboration Feed insight into Product, Sector and Marketing teams to sharpen positioning and campaigns Help refine solution narratives based on what resonates in market Ideal Candidate Profile Must-Have 7–12 years’ experience in strategic B2B sales (ideally AI, consultancy or insight) Proven success owning and converting complex sales cycles Confident in both storytelling and commercial negotiation Fluent in value-based selling (Challenger, SPIN, MEDDIC or similar frameworks) Comfortable navigating ambiguity and building structure where needed Bonus Experience selling AI or insight solutions into enterprise clients Exposure to brand, innovation, CX or marketing strategy teams Ability to create smart decks, scope pilots, and lead pitch conversations Why Join Verve?
