An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Finance Assistant to join a busy finance team, supporting revenue reconciliation across both in-store and online sales channels. This role focuses on ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of revenue records and related debtor balances, working under the guidance of the Revenue Reconciliation Manager.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation of revenue for multiple currencies (£ & €) across in-store and online sales channels.
* Identify and report discrepancies between sales data and actual revenue, escalating issues when necessary.
* Support reconciliation of transactions across various payment platforms, including card payments and online processors.
* Accurately input and maintain data for revenue reconciliation processes.
* Keep organised records of reconciliations, discrepancies, and resolutions for auditing and reporting.
* Reconcile other debtor balances such as finance, petty cash, purchase orders, and chargebacks.
Person Specification
* Strong experience in financial reconciliation, ideally within a retail or multi-channel environment.
* Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accurate data entry.
* Team-oriented with good time management to meet deadlines.
