Founded in 1978, Clark Contracts is a privately owned main contractor with several operating divisions; Construction, Fit Out, Refurbishment, Housing, and Maintenance. We employ over 280 people with offices in the East and West of Scotland.\n\nWe are now looking to recruit a Trainee Maintenance Administrator to join the organisation. The successful candidate will complete a relevant Modern Apprenticeship.\n The successful applicant will work in our Maintenance Division, report to the Contracts Managers and will be trained in the following: \n\nâ¢\tLogging jobs\nâ¢\tArranging and co-ordinating surveys for insurance and planned works\nâ¢\tCost control and analysis\nâ¢\tProduce and submit reports to both customers and internal contacts\nâ¢\tAnswering and responding to telephone calls, e-mails, portal updates\nâ¢\tSourcing and purchasing of materials for insurance and planned works\nâ¢\tCollation and processing of weekly paperwork from the directly employed operatives\nâ¢\tLiaising with subcontractors on planned works\nâ¢\tGeneral administration of the department\n To be considered for this role candidates should\n\nâ¢\tHave a willingness to learn\nâ¢\tBe able to demonstrate excellent time management skills\nâ¢\tHave strong IT Skills \nâ¢\tHave excellent communication skills and be capable of multi-tasking\nâ¢\tBe adaptable to change within a fast-paced environment\nâ¢\tHave the ability work both as part of a team and by using their own initiative\n\nThe successful candidate will work alongside a third-party training provider to complete their SVQ.
