You’ll step in as the operational leader of the company, working directly with the founder, with a clear mandate:

Do that well, and you won’t just run the company — you’ll lead it.
Your Mission
As General Manager, you will own the business end-to-end. Not from a distance — but hands-on, in the detail, where growth actually happens.
You will:
* Take full responsibility for revenue and profitability
* Identify what’s holding the business back — and fix it
* Design and execute growth initiatives across acquisition, retention, and monetisation
* Lead a distributed team across product, marketing, operations, and support
* Build systems, dashboards, and accountability that drive performance
This is a builder’s role, not a caretaker’s.
Every initiative starts with you — tested, proven, profitable — then scaled.
What You’ll Be Doing
Driving Commercial Growth
* Diagnose growth constraints and unlock new revenue opportunities
* Own and optimise the full customer lifecycle (acquisition → retention → expansion)
* Scale recurring revenue in a B2C SaaS environment
Running the Business
* Lead day-to-day operations across a remote, cross-functional team
* Set clear goals, track KPIs, and hold teams accountable
* Build systems that improve execution, visibility, and efficiency
Owning Performance
* Take full ownership of business performance, with a clear path to P&L responsibility
* Make decisions grounded in data, ROI, and profitability
* Reinforce a culture of accountability and excellence
Partnering with the Founder
* Act as the founder’s right hand
* Work closely 1:1 with an experienced entrepreneur
* Help shape strategy, while executing relentlessly
Who This Role Is For
You’re not just a manager — you’re an operator.
Someone who:
* Rolls up their sleeves and gets involved where needed
* Thinks in terms of profit, not just growth
* Is obsessed with understanding customers
* Can move between strategy and execution without friction
* Is comfortable operating with limited resources — and making them count
You’ve likely:
* Worked in SaaS, tech, or infrastructure-led products (e.g. hosting, VPN, cloud, or similar)
* Helped grow a bootstrapped or lean company (sub-50 people, ~$1M–$5M ARR range)
* Owned or contributed to P&L performance
* Led remote, distributed teams
* Built or optimised subscription businesses (MRR, CAC, LTV, churn — you know the drill)
You don’t need to be an expert in everything — but you understand how product, growth, finance, and operations connect.
