Job vacancy:
Senior Sous Chef or Head Chef required to join an award-winning bar and restaurant nestled in rural Kettering.
Be advised that this company are an independently owned business, they pride themselves on their fresh locally sourced produce and prepare beautiful high value creations, looking at the venue and menu, it’s no wonder they’re an award-winning establishment.
Rota:
You will be required to work 4 out of 7 days per week, typically evenings and weekends however, the business is open 7 days per week between 11:00 and 22:00. You will have at least 1 day off over the weekend and 2 days off together during the week for a better work life balance.
You will work 4 x 12hr shifts per week (contracted to 48hrs per week)
Staffing:
There are circa 6-7 experienced and/or qualified Chefs working on a full-time permanent contract, with a Relief Chef on standby. Newly promoted Exec Chef promotes a calm working environment. F&B Manager is highly experienced and French trained. One of the Directors is a Chef by trade.
Salary banding:
Salary negotiable depending on experience, circa £35k to £40k per annum DOE, paid monthly.
Tips:
Tips are shared equally £150-£160 per week on average, paid weekly.

Applicants:
Fresh produce experience is mandatory, ideally French cuisine trained
Prior work experience of 3 years or more in a Rosette or Michelin Star restaurant
Established seniority within a commercial kitchen, ability to train and develop Jnr Chefs
Be adaptable to change, procedures and protocols are well established
Strong Sous Chef, Senior Sous Chef or Head Chef required
Seafood experiences ideal
Up to date Food Hygiene / Food Safety L2
Clean and tidy Chef
Good work ethics and personality will go a long way
