Overview
Are you a compassionate phlebotomist? Our Weymouth and Portland Community Team based at Weymouth Community Hospital are looking for a Community Phlebotomist to join their experienced team.
As the Community Phlebotomist you will support the DN and Anticoagulation teams and housebound patients with their venepuncture requirements. You will be able to work autonomously and manage your own workload (with support). You will be expected to visit patients in their own homes to take required bloods tests and deliver them back to the collection points in a timely manner.
This is a part-time role of 24 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We can be flexible with start and finish times to support childcare/carers responsibilities. Hours can be discussed further at interview stage. In return for your enthusiasm and commitment, we can provide an opportunity for you to develop your clinical skills and experience in a supportive team, with regular supervision and appraisals. We offer full comprehensive induction training with ongoing support and regular supervisions.
You must hold a valid UK driving license and have access to a car. Applications from candidates that require current Skilled Worker sponsorship to work in the UK are unfortunately ineligible to apply for this position.
