National Account Manager – Grocery
Hybrid (Central London 2 days every other week)
£60,000 + Car Allowance + 20% Bonus
Are you ready to take ownership of a major grocery account and make a real impact in a fast-growing food business? We’re looking for a National Account Manager to join a dynamic, rebranded company that’s investing in its people, strategy, and future growth.
Reporting to a National Account Controller, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering a high-profile retail project with one of the UK’s leading grocers. You’ll work closely with a newly formed team, driving joint business plans, managing day-to-day customer relationships, and ensuring commercial success.
This is a hands-on role in a business that has embraced change and is building for the future. You’ll thrive if you’re commercially sharp, confident managing top 4 grocery accounts, and ready to operate in a business where you can truly make your mark.
What you’ll do:
* Manage a key strategic grocery account, supporting delivery of a major growth project.
* Drive JBP execution, promotional planning, and forecasting.
* Build strong relationships with retail contacts and internal stakeholders.
* Collaborate with a small, high-performing team including a Controller and Account Executive.
* Contribute to shaping and embedding the company’s commercial strategy.
What we’re looking for:
* Proven experience as a National Account Manager or strong Junior NAM looking to step up.
* Track record managing UK grocery accounts – ideally with top 4 experience.
* Commercially astute, confident in negotiations, and comfortable in a dynamic environment.
* Team player with the authenticity and character to build trust internally and externally.
The offer:
* Salary circa £60,000 + car allowance + 20% bonus
* Hybrid working – 2 days in Central London every other week
