In this role you will be at the heart of maintaining and improving Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality standards across all our operational sites. Working closely with the SHEQ Director, senior leaders, and site teams, you will ensure compliance, drive best practice, and help embed a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Report daily to the Senior SHEQ Manager
* Conduct quarterly SHEQ audits and produce monthly reports
* Support ISO audits and maintain compliance with SHEQ standards
* Keep systems like ECO-online and toolbox registers up to date
* Help develop and implement safe systems of work
* Lead by example during site safety tours and forums
* Identify improvement opportunities and escalade concerns appropriately
* Contribute to SHEQ forums and monthly bulletins
Qualifications & Skills
* Solid understanding of SHEQ procedures and legislation
* Experience in data analysis, KPI reporting, and admin tasks
* Clear, confident communication, both written and verbal
* Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
* Self‑driven with excellent time managementConfident using Microsoft Office applications
* A practical, problem‑solving approach to challenges
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Preferred Certifications
* TechIOSH membership
* CSCS card (desirable)
* Fire Marshal / Safety Certificate
* Asbestos Awareness Certificate (desirable)
* First Aid at Work
