Job Details
* Job Title: Product Owner x 2
* Salary: £38,300 - £49,775 per annum
* Location: Cambridge, Hybrid (at least 2 days per week in the office)
* Contract: 1 Permanent, Full time (35 hours per week) and 1 Fixed term contract 12 months. Full time (35 hours per week)
Responsibilities
1. Bridge the gap between business and technology, driving impactful change by prioritising stakeholder needs and leading agile teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.
2. Work closely with Business Owners to prioritise and maintain the product backlog for CAIE.
3. Lead agile ceremonies: daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and participate in steering and workgroup meetings.
4. Act as the primary liaison between development team and business stakeholders.
5. Develop comprehensive understanding of platform functionality, product capabilities, and business dependencies to ensure technical solutions align with release objectives, business requirements, and quality standards.
6. Write and prioritise user stories, define acceptance criteria, manage defects, and collaborate closely with the testing team to ensure changes adhere to best practices.
7. Monitor progress regularly, manage strategic risk, support system adoption, and apply problem‑solving skills, adaptability, and strong communication throughout project phases.

* Proactive and analytical, make sound recommendations on backlog prioritisation, resource allocation, task feasibility.
* Technical acumen: JIRA, SharePoint, web analytics, structured development methodologies.
* Solid understanding ensuring product meets evolving needs of the International Education ecosystem.
