Job Description
What You’ll Be Doing
* Collaborating with business users to define new application requirements.
* Developing, testing and maintaining clean, performant code for client applications.
* Supporting project delivery alongside Project Managers and Senior Engineers.
* Working as part of a close‑knit team to deliver solutions on time and on budget.
* Analysing large‑scale time‑series data and generating actionable reports.
* Mentoring junior developers and contributing to a culture of continuous learning.
Qualifications
What You Bring
* 2+ years of hands‑on kdb+ development experience.
* Solid understanding of q language and time‑series data structures.
* Experience working in Unix/Linux environments.
* Strong logical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
* Familiarity with software development methodologies and the SDLC.
* Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a team.
* Excellent client‑facing communication skills.
* Experience in Capital Markets or Investment Banking is advantageous.
Bonus Skills (Not Required)
* Experience with AI tooling (Claude, Co‑Pilot)
* Knowledge of Python, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), or other time‑series databases.
* Exposure to project leadership or people management.
Contribution to internal tools, documentation, community initiatives.
