Responsibilities
* Support the Operational Manager in delivering assessment and intervention for the MHST caseload.
* Work alongside the Operational Manager to manage and further develop the CAMHS MHST working to an agreed model.
* Deputise for the Operational Manager when required.
* Provide a safe, effective and therapeutic clinical team ensuring the delivery of current presentation and advising young people and families waiting for assessment / intervention.
* Contribute to the development of community mental health service provision across the wider service.
* Develop and implement a robust performance management system for the team.
* Line‑manage, supervise and appraise team colleagues.
* Collaborate with statutory and voluntary agencies to ensure responsive and appropriate service delivery to users and carers.
Qualifications
* Registered Mental Health Nurse, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, Clinical Psychologist, Family Therapist or Psychotherapist.
* Experience leading a clinical team within a child and adolescent mental health setting.
* Strong organisational and operational management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Commitment to providing high‑quality, child‑safe mental health care.
