Overview
Here at Collins Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) UK facility Marston Green, we provide specialist technical support for Electronic Engine Control, Fuel Metering units, Actuators, and Pump units widely used in the Aerospace industry.
What You Will Do
The job holder will support the Global Spares team to achieve business and customer deliverables related to current and future projects, and will be responsible for:
1. Administering the RFQ process using best practice procedures to support business and customer needs (Internal and External).
2. Providing pricing quotes aligned with business strategies to ensure EBIT targets are met.
3. Reducing inventory values by managing MOQs/MOVs and offering EOQs to customers.
4. Ensuring all records comply with our accreditation, AS9120.
5. Working proactively with suppliers to meet SLAs, utilizing CORE tools where necessary.
6. Maintaining current metrics to improve RFQ performance.
7. Collaborating with Business Development to create customer packages and strategic pricing to secure orders.
8. Assisting with the annual Spares catalogue process and updating customer-specific price lists.
9. Challenging supplier quotes using historical financial data to procure parts cost-effectively.
10. Supporting the finance department with invoice cost discrepancies.
11. Developing Point of Use reporting tools to enhance global spares process management and customer service.
12. Providing prompt and accurate reports to the business within agreed timeframes.
