About These Roles and What You Will Be Doing
You will assist Project Engineers and the Project Manager on all activities within International Projects. This role is based in Glasgow but involves travel to Spain for training and to Africa for project support.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Procurement: Research UK suppliers for international project materials, review technical documents, source equipment, produce purchase orders, monitor contractual obligations, and attend supplier visits.
2. Logistics: Coordinate deliveries, plan shipments, maintain records, and communicate delivery schedules.
3. Project Finance: Control invoices, update financial records, and assist in project cash flow management.
Candidate Requirements
* Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering (MEng degree)
* Experience in an Engineering environment (placement/voluntary)
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Proficient in PC skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Gmail)
* Client-focused with commercial awareness
* Good Health & Safety knowledge
* Willingness to travel overseas as required
