This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 2days per week in our WhitwellontheHill office. Due to the beautifulremote location access to your own transport is essential. Worklife balance is important to us and so we are open to discussion onflexible working patterns and parttime working (minimum 4 days perweek).
Role:
This incrediblyvaried role sits at the heart of the current and more excitinglythe future customerproposition at Inntravel. From scanning themarket for travel consumer and competitor trends to gettingout onthe road to visit destinations. You will assess both existingproducts and develop new concepts usingyour wellestablishedindustry network of contacts to stay up to date. Using all yourinsights knowledge andcommercial awareness you will sit in a teamthat leads the business on our future strategy throughregularplanning meetings across Marketing Commercial Sales andOperations.
Being responsible for all ourcontract negotiations (including accommodation transport andequipment) it isessential you have a keen commercial awareness anda sound interest in building mutually beneficialsupplierrelationships.
Once youve built and deliveredour excellent product to Sales youll play a key role in educatingthe rest ofthe business about what it is exactly that makes it sospecial! The first step will be to ensure that all the routenotesand descriptions are spot on so a keen eye for detail is essential.And youll work on brochures andmarketing campaigns in conjunctionwith the Marketing team provide a brief for all holiday content forour
sales channels deliver training to Sales teams on howto make these holidays irresistible to our high level ofrepeatcustomers and ensure Inntravel product stands out in an everincreasingly competitive environment.
Youll comewith lots of ideas and suggestions on how we best position ourproduct and improve ourcustomer journey through both online andoffline channels. And youll be able to handle all of this forUKbased and International sourcemarkets.

* Apassion for designing product that delivers an excellent customerexperience is essential. Youll have akeen awareness of this sectorof the travel industry and a ton of ideas on how you can furtherimproveInntravels product portfolio to meet customer needs andcapitalise on market trends.
* Collaboration iskey to our success and youll thrive on working alongside CommercialSales Operationsand our Marketing teams as part of your day today.Yourcommunication to stakeholders (internal andexternal) isclear concise and effective and you deliver great outcomes in linewith agreed deadlines.

* Able and willing to travel regularlyoverseas to develop and enhance holidays in any ofInntravelsdestinations is essential.
* Ideallyyoull be fluent in at least one European language in addition toEnglish.
* Previous experience of working withina tour operators Product or Commercial function isdesirable.
* Able to handle numerous concurrenttasks and work under pressure to regulardeadlines.
* Good interpersonal skills with anability to relate appropriately to suppliers customers andcolleagues.
* Demonstrate a keen commercialacumen.
* Highly positive creative andselfmotivated but you must be a good team player working tosharedobjectives.
