Visitor Chat is a rapidly growing company at the forefront of live chat solutions. We are seeking an ambitious and energetic individual, to help strengthen our SAAS product offering by taking charge of our in-house SAAS platform that powers real-time live chat for the automotive and real estate industries — with exciting plans to expand further.
If you're a hands-on developer with a knack for mentoring, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration, this is your chance to lead a small, agile team and make a real impact.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Hands-on with development across our stack
* Managing a small team of UK based developers.
* Leading sprint planning, issue prioritisation, and estimating work
* Running stand-ups and regular 1:1s
* Collaborating with BA, QA, and Design to maintain an efficient pipeline of work.
* Handling internal queries and shaping team processes (code reviews, deployments, etc.)
* Staying hands-on with development across our stack
Requirements
* PHP 8 (Laravel + Livewire), VueJS, Postgres
* Experience with managing development teams
* Web Sockets (Socket.io)
* HTML/CSS (Tailwind)
* Docker, Virtualisation
* Git
Nice to Have:
* NodeJS
* Experience with reporting on large datasets
* Experience with high traffic solutions
* AWS / Server Administration (Especially ECS)
* GitHub Actions
* Experience with Live Chat solutions
