North West Skills Development Network Student Coordinator

Are you passionate about supporting people and helping shape the future workforce? The North West Skills Development Network, hosted by Warrington & Halton Teaching Hospitals Foundation Trust, is an innovative learning and development network and we are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to coordinate the delivery of programmes to support the development of digital, finance and procurement students, including apprentices, in NHS organisations across the North West of England.
Our mission is to support the development of a sustainable workforce to support the continued delivery of high quality patient care. Offering development opportunities from Apprentice through to Director Level.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for coordinating the implementation and delivery of a wide range of programmes to support the student network and the Skills Development Network apprenticeship programmes, including providing pastoral care for the apprentices placed across the North West.

Person Specification
Experience
* Experience of organising events/meeting with multiple stakeholders
* Experience of providing advice, guidance and support to learners
Qualifications
* Educated to degree level or equivalent or significant relevant experience
* Coaching and/or mentoring qualification
Skills
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to communicate in a clear and articulate manner at different levels
* IT literate including experience of developing databases, spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations.
* Knowledge of the social, emotional and mental health needs of young people
* Knowledge of apprenticeship delivery, ideally within the health and care sector.
