About the role:
Our client is seeking a dedicated and motivated Claims Professional to join their dynamic team in London. Candidates with 3+ years of relevant experience in handling Marine claims. You will be responsible for efficiently managing and processing claims, providing exceptional customer service to clients, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
Responsibilities include:
* Provide technical assistance to the claims product leaders and colleagues
* Process and adjudicate insurance claims accurately and efficiently within established timelines.
* Communicate with clients, policyholders, and other stakeholders to provide updates on claim status, address inquiries, and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
* Maintain accurate and organized claim files and documentation, including claim forms, correspondence, and reports.
* Evaluate settlement options and negotiate fair and reasonable settlements with claimants or their representatives.
* Identify and report potential instances of fraud or suspicious claim activity and participate in fraud investigation processes as necessary.
* Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices related to claims management and insurance coverage.
About you:
* 3+ years Marine Claims experience .
* Understanding of claims process and markets
* Ability to work independently with high attention to detail.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Enthusiastic and committed team player who can challenge other team members and work collaboratively in a highly focussed and skilled work environment.
* Excellent negotiation skills and ability to develop claim strategies
