The Role
As a senior member of the platform engineering team, you will architect, build, and optimise the underlying infrastructure that powers cutting‑edge GenAI and machine learning workloads. This includes large‑scale model deployment, distributed systems design, high‑throughput data processing, and the creation of robust frameworks that enable rapid experimentation, safe iteration, and reliable productionisation of LLM‑ and ML‑driven features.

Responsibilities
* Design and build scalable, production‑grade GenAI and ML platform components
* Develop infrastructure for training, fine‑tuning, evaluating, and deploying large models
* Create internal tooling enabling fast model experimentation and automated workflows
* Optimise and scale distributed systems and vector‑driven architectures
* Implement robust observability, reliability, and performance engineering practices
* Collaborate closely with data scientists, ML engineers, and product teams
* Champion platform best practices, architectural improvements, and automation
What You’ll Bring
* Extensive experience building and deploying distributed ML or LLM systems
* Expertise in Python, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), and Kubernetes
* Strong knowledge of MLOps, model orchestration, and CI/CD for AI systems
* Background in embeddings, vector databases, LLM fine‑tuning, or inference optimisation
* Ability to balance high‑level architectural thinking with hands‑on engineering
