Ironfly Technologies is looking to grow our product team in Australia and are looking for a creative thinker to lead the team and work closely with our clients and engineers in Sydney to manage the product lifecycles and facilitate the company's growth.
What you'll be doing:

Growing and Leading Ironfly's product team.
Working closely with Ironfly's users and the Engineering team to develop new products and enhance existing products/features.
Your main objective is to facilitate business growth and ensure existing client/user needs are met through maintaining existing and developing new products.
Gather new requirements/requests from existing clients and the broader market.
Scope out new product features and enhancements.
Prioritising and managing the timelines and costs for new product feature development and deployment.
Work closely with the quality assurance teams to adopt new and optimise existing pre-release test plans.
Create user training documentation and guides.
Provide product demos and in-person training, for users and the marketing teams.

Relevant Skills:

Effective verbal and written communication skills
Strategic thinking and problem-solving
Time-management ability
Knowledge of agile project/product management methodologies
Basic understanding of web development
Ability to navigate a fast-moving environment
Knowledge of the broader capital market industry
Knowledge of and experience in working with FIX protocol
Knowledge of user behaviour and needs within finance applications
User experience identification and communication through user stories
Knowledge of UX and UI standards and basic Figma

Qualifications and experience:

Bachelors Degree in the fields of Business Management, Information Systems, or Computer Science
7+ years of practical work experience as a Product Manager and/or Business Analyst
Prior experience in Agile project management methodologies
Prior experience in leading a product team
Experience in user onboarding and offering system training to new clients
Client consultation and requirement gathering
Experience in consumer applications, preferably in finance apps
Scoping new product features and translating client requests to engineering/development teams
Planning for and working around sprint cycles
