Transform is seeking an exceptional executive leader to oversee the financial, fundraising, administrative, governance and operational functions of the company. This is a brilliant opportunity to be part of further building the UK’s leading festival of inclusive, international performance, based in Leeds. Following an incredible first decade of Transform, you’ll be part of making plans for the next ten years, building on Transform's reputation as a powerhouse for electrifying cultural experiences in the North. The post holder will join at a point where recent festival Transform 25 has been wrapped up and evaluated, and as the team build towards the next edition Transform 27.
This critical role will back-up a bold, change-making artistic vision with robust financial, fundraising, administrative and operational acumen and oversight. The Executive Director will be responsible for informing and delivering Transform’s strategic direction over the coming years and will work closely with Transform’s Artistic Director/CEO to sure up Transform’s legacy as the UK’s leading inclusive, international performance festival. The role will be responsible for developing and driving a robust, multi-stranded income generation strategy to underpin Transform’s programming and will lead on the effective financial management of the organisation. The Executive Director will also lead on the effective administration, HR and governance of the company, and will hold operational oversight of festivals and events. Guided by Transform’s vision and values, the post holder will oversee Transform’s policies and inform best practice, from finance to HR, environmentalism, evaluation and access.
