We are looking for an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to support our Adult Learning Disabilities & Autism Service, based in Bath. The client offers a full-time contract, a manageable caseload, and opportunities to develop your skills and portfolio through ongoing training. This vacancy will be for an initial 3–6 months, with the potential for extension. Main Duties for the Occupational Therapist include: Working within a specialist multi-disciplinary team supporting adults with learning disabilities and/or autism living in the community. Providing functional assessments, developing person-centred intervention plans, and supporting with sensory processing, daily living skills, and routines. Collaborating with families, carers, and support staff to enhance client independence and quality of life. Contributing to capacity assessments, risk assessments, and making recommendations for adaptations, equipment, and ongoing support. Promoting access to meaningful occupation and reducing barriers to participation in everyday life.To Be Successful: Previous experience working as an Occupational Therapist with adults with learning disabilities or autism.
