This role requires an individual to plan, teach and assess an EYFS class, ensuring every pupil makes excellent progress. You will be expected to teach within the EYFS National Curriculum, plan engaging, creative lessons which meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND and disadvantaged backgrounds
Working closely with colleagues (KS1 team, EYFS team and support staff) to ensure continuity of learning
Liaising with parents / carers, providing feedback on pupils’ progress and needs
Participating in professional development, and contributing to school improvement initiatives
Person Specification / Desired Qualities
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in EYFS
Strong classroom management skills; ability to motivate and inspire young learners
Good communication & interpersonal skills; able to build strong relationships with children, staff, parents
Sensitivity to diversity, inclusion and wellbeing of pupils
Enhanced up to date DBS clearance, safeguarding awareness

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
