Overview
Technical Compliance & Assurance Manager role at Landmarc Support Services. Salary: £68,906.25. Allowance: £600/Month Car Allowance. Base Location: Westdown Camp, Tilshead, Salisbury, Wiltshire, SP3 4RS. Lead the national assurance framework across Hard FM disciplines, driving operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and technical standards at scale.
You will be the strategic lead for technical governance, ensuring operations meet and exceed statutory, contractual, and industry standards. You’ll champion continuous improvement, oversee national audit programmes, and act as the subject matter expert for JSP 375, supporting regional Technical Managers and Authorised Persons. This is a high-profile role interfacing with senior stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and the defence customer (DTE/DIO).
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the development and execution of assurance processes across fire safety, DSEAR, fuel, gas, electrical, asbestos, and legionella compliance.
* Govern technical standards and ensure outputs are accurate, complete, and of the highest quality.
* Act as the focal point for technical assurance at contractual meetings, providing evidence-based reporting and insights.
* Manage third-party engineering audits and ensure timely close-out of corrective actions.
* Analyse national trends in maintenance and compliance, driving root cause analysis and remedial action.
* Maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies and ensure Landmarc’s compliance response is proactive and robust.
* Support the delivery of the Management Process Audit & Assurance programme and embed lessons learned across the business.
What You Bring
* Proven experience in senior technical compliance, assurance, or engineering governance roles within Hard FM.
* Strong working knowledge of CAFM systems (e.g. Maximo) and FM standards (e.g. SFG20).
* Qualifications in key compliance areas (e.g. P405 Asbestos, C&G Legionella).
* Understanding of MoD Defence contracts and JSP 375.
* HNC/HND/Degree in Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
* Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and analytical skills.
* A proactive, improvement-focused mindset with the ability to influence and lead across regions.
