The Best Connection are working in partnership with a well-established client in Wem, Shropshire, who are looking to add a Telehandler Driver to their team on an ongoing, temporary to permanent basis. This role is available for an immediate start and offers long-term stability for the right candidate.
You will be working within a busy timber yard and production setting, playing an important role in the daily movement and handling of materials, while maintaining high safety standards at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safe operation of a telehandler within the yard and production areas
* Transporting, stacking, and moving timber products
* Loading and unloading deliveries and finished goods
* Assisting production staff where required
* Carrying out general yard and labouring duties
* Ensuring work areas remain clean, safe, and organised
Pay & Working Hours:
* £16.00 - £17.00 per hour (rate dependent on experience)
* Monday to Thursday: 07:00 - 17:00
* Friday: 07:00 - 13:00
* Flexibility required to support operational demands
* Average working week of 40-45 hours

Essential Requirements:
* Valid Telehandler licence (preferred)
* Full UK driving licence
