RPS have partnered with Beadlight in their search for an Aerospace Engineer.
Beadlight is a British manufacturing company specialising in premium LED products using its patented Beadlight diffusion technology. The business designed the first LED reading light for a commercial airliner in 1997 and now supplies major airlines and seat manufacturers worldwide. With in house designers and engineers the company creates tailored lighting solutions for aerospace and healthcare markets while manufacturing all products at its Oxfordshire headquarters. Beadlight is part of the Original BTC Group which supports its continued growth and innovation.
As part of their continued growth, Beadlight is now looking to hire an Aerospace Engineer to support design review, testing, and compliance activities within their engineering team.
As the Aerospace Engineer your responsibilities will include
Supporting the review of engineering designs to ensure compliance with required standards
Assisting with test procedures and validation activities
Travelling to Portsmouth to witness and support product testing
Maintaining clear and accurate documentation to support compliance
Working across mechanical, electronic, and software engineering teams
Supporting quality and standards within a controlled engineering environment
As the Aerospace Engineer you will bring
A degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related engineering/science discipline
13 years post-graduate engineering experience (or similar)
An understanding of engineering standards and compliance
Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
Experience or interest in working within regulated environments such as aerospace, defence, or automotive
A willingness to learn and develop across multiple engineering disciplines
