Responsibilities
* Greet each customer with a warm and friendly welcome.
* Listen to and talk with customers to find out what their needs are.
* Do your best to make sure the customer finds everything they want.
* Be passionate and knowledgeable about our products and services.
* Always be in store, on time, smartly dressed and ready to serve.
* Make sure Post Office processes and procedures are followed.
* Help to achieve key targets and manage operational routines.
* Always think 25 when serving age restricted products.
* Work as part of a team to complete store duties.
Post Office Officer Specific Responsibilities
* Maintain audit scores (One Stop and Post Office Ltd Mystery Shopper visits) and implement action plans for any below green.
* Ensure correct products are advertised for the correct period and all products and information leaflets are available.
* Serve customers promptly, provide positive feedback, and inform them of service options.
* Monitor cash availability and complete all routine tasks and regulatory compliance training.
* Manage staffing, including recruitment, pays, absence, and disciplinary processes within required timescales.
* Maintain safety, health and welfare of colleagues and customers, handle hazard reporting.
* Drive own development and performance reviews; ensure succession planning.
* Achieve and exceed key targets, maintain 95% of staff completion of Bronze, Silver, Gold, 87% response rate, and 100% cash declaration accuracy.
* Maintain Value adherence, give feedback on values, and BRAGd green on performance review against values.
