Responsibilities
* Patient Care: Ensure blood samples are collected safely and efficiently, maintaining high standards of care.
* Operational Support: Manage consumable stock levels to support smooth operations.
* Team Collaboration: Work alongside a dedicated team to deliver an efficient, high‑quality service to patients.
* Community phlebotomy coverage requiring a valid car driver licence.
Qualifications / Person Specification
* High levels of accuracy and organisational skills.
* Good general education.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Understanding of patient needs and concerns.
* Good literacy and numeracy levels.
* Knowledge of medical terminology.
* Previous experience in a clinical environment.
* Contractual requirement: cover colleagues when needed.
Further Training
* Ongoing training opportunities.
* Venepuncture training.
