The Agapé Center’s Department for Service Learning is partnering with MCC and Thrift on Purpose to hire a student to help support the shop’s operations and mission.

* Knowledge and/or interest in the second hand market
* Ability to look at and access items for quality

Minimum 4-hour shift, at least once a week.

Primary Duties
Training will be provided. Duties include:
* Sort donations as assigned and place in designated areas
* Make decisions on what items are saleable, for recycling, or trash
* Use established pricing guidelines, price items for floor display
* Decide which items might be used for the high value case
* Responsible for the initial sort of the donations
* Maintain consistent and reliable attendance
