Quality Lineside Engineer
Location: Broughton, Chester (on-site)
Pay: £24.64/hr (PAYE) or £32.96/hr (Umbrella)
Shifts: Night shift pattern (Monday to Thursday 8:45pm - 6:00am, 30% uplift)
Start: BPSS+ Clearance required

What You'll Do
* Champion Quality: Provide expert support and advice on drawings, parts, and processes, ensuring our products meet the highest standards.
* Drive Improvement: Lead investigations into quality issues, identify root causes, and coordinate corrective actions-often within a single shift.
* Assure Excellence: Monitor and uphold our quality systems through regular audits and process confirmations.
* Collaborate & Lead: Work closely with cross-functional teams, presenting quality overviews to leadership and supporting continuous improvement.
* Problem Solve: Use proven tools (PPS, 5Y, Ishikawa, etc.) to tackle challenges and reduce non-conformities.
What We're Looking For
* Experience in a quality or engineering role within a major manufacturing environment (aerospace, automotive, or similar).
* Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and analyse data.
* Confident problem solver with a proactive, adaptable approach.
* Excellent communication skills-able to challenge constructively and build strong relationships.
* Team player, comfortable working alongside operational and cross-functional colleagues.
