Job Title: Site Engineer - Footbridge Replacement (Highways)

Rate: £400-£470 per day (Inside IR35)
Start Date: 23rd March
End Date: End of August
Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm (No weekends)

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to support the delivery of a footbridge replacement scheme in Skegness. This is a key infrastructure project requiring a strong background in bridge and structural works.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in setting out, quality control, and technical delivery of the bridge replacement works, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme, and to specification.
Key Responsibilities
Setting out and surveying for bridge and associated civils works
Overseeing reinforced concrete, structural steel, and associated infrastructure elements
Managing quality assurance, ITPs, and inspection records
Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered in line with drawings and specifications
Liaising with site management, designers, and stakeholders
Ensuring health & safety compliance at all times
Producing as-built records and maintaining accurate site documentation
Requirements
Proven experience delivering bridge or major structural infrastructure projects (essential)
Experience on footbridge replacement or similar highways schemes highly desirable
Strong understanding of RC structures, steelwork, and temporary works
CSCS Card (essential)
SMSTS (desirable)
Strong setting out and surveying capability
Ability to work independently and drive programme on site
