We’re seeking a bold, insightful, and emotionally resilient Adult Safeguarding Team Manager to lead our safeguarding service across Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire. This is your opportunity to influence lives, lead innovation, and ensure our most vulnerable citizens are supported with dignity and respect. Lead and manage a high-performing team delivering statutory safeguarding duties under the Care Act 2014, including Section 42 enquiries. Champion public protection through active involvement in MAPPA, Channel Panel, and multi-agency safeguarding arrangements. Work closely with the Stoke-on-Trent & Staffordshire Safeguarding Adults Board, contributing to strategic planning, audits, and learning reviews. Interpret and present safeguarding data using Power BI and other tools to inform decision-making and service improvement. Navigate complex safeguarding cases with emotional resilience, clarity, and compassion. You will be a qualified social work background with proven leadership in adult safeguarding. In-depth knowledge of safeguarding legislation, including the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and associated statutory guidance. Experience working within multi-agency frameworks including MAPPA and Prevent (Channel). Strong analytical skills and confidence in interpreting data to drive performance and quality.
