The Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HS&W) department supports the business to reduce HS&W risk and create positive working environments. Our Health, Safety and Wellness team at Sellafield is currently looking for a Health Safety and Wellbeing Advisor to join the team.

Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor

Your profile
The purpose of the H&S Advisor is to support stakeholders in achieving high HS&W standards. You will be a developing member of the HS&W team, working closely with the Regional HS&W team, project teams, and supply chain partners. Your role includes advising management, employees, and partners, and working collaboratively with the client team.
Essential qualifications and skills:
* Member of IOSH
* NEBOSH Construction Certificate
* Excellent people leadership skills
* Experience providing technical HS&W support on complex Construction or Civil Engineering projects
* Ability to apply root cause analysis
* Excellent communication and influencing skills
* Proven success in leading HS&W improvements
* Proactive attitude towards learning and development
Desirable qualifications:
* Chartered member of IOSH
* NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ Level 5/6 in Occupational Health and Safety
* Mental Health First Aider
* Understanding of behavioural psychology and human factors
* Environmental qualification
