Role purpose- what is this role about?
The Marketing Assistant will support the development and execution of marketing strategies aimed at enhancing the firm’s brand presence, supporting client acquisition, and promoting investment solutions across digital and offline channels. You will be reporting to the Marketing Manager.
This role is remote based, but with regular in-person/team meetings in London.
Main responsibilities:
* Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns (email, social media, SEO/SEM) to support business development
* Maintaining/creating marketing collateral including pitch decks, brochureware, newsletters, and factsheets
* Maintain and update the company website, ensuring content is current and aligned with brand messaging
* Track, analyse, and report on key marketing KPIs using analytics tools like Google Analytics and CRM platforms
* Support the coordination of webinars, events, and PR opportunities in collaboration with external agencies and internal teams
What will you be doing:
* Draft and proofread content that adheres to compliance and branding guidelines.
* Support the Business Development team with updating collateral materials, presentations etc.
* Collaborate with the Investment and Business Development teams to translate technical information into client-friendly materials/content.
* Monitor market trends and competitors' activity to provide insights that shape campaign strategy
* Assist in building the firm’s social media presence, managing content calendars and assets
* Liaise with third-party vendors and media contacts to deliver high-quality marketing outputs
* Data- project manage RFI process, by working with different functions to obtain the required information.
* Maintain marketing data logs i.e., ratings and awards submissions
* Update the website as required, and support all website developments
* Events management: plan & organise different types of events (online/in person), from logistical arrangements to marketing promotional materials
* Initiate email marketing campaigns. Send out regular emails to various targeted audiences
Desired experience and education:
* Desired Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Communications, or related field/CIM
* 1-2 years of experience in a marketing role, ideally within financial services or B2B environments
* Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and tools (Hubspot, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Analytics)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and design platforms such as Canva is an advantage
* Wordpress experience and knowledge is an advantage
