We are seeking a proactive and organised Administrative Assistant to provide day-to-day support to our team. The successful candidate will handle routine administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth running of office operations and supporting project activities.
* Respond to basic enquiries and redirect them as appropriate
* Handle straightforward correspondence and create documents for others
* Organise parcels to be packed and delivered in a timely manner
* Support research administrators by maintaining monitoring documents
* Oversee administrative processes for specific projects
* Update databases and assist in maintaining accurate records
* Experience in working in a previous office or administrative environment
* Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage deadlines efficiently
* Ability to support administrators in maintaining project documentation, Professional communication and ability to respond to enquiries appropriately
* Experience preparing and formatting documents accurately
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Attention to detail in record-keeping and data entry
* Ability to support administrators in maintaining project documentation
* Experience with routine administrative processes
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
* Reliable, flexible, and able to prioritise multiple tasks effectively
* Please be aware that all candidates need to be able to start work immediately and must be able to work on site if required to do so.
* The position is set to commence ASAP and will be full-time for an initial duration of 12 weeks with a pay rate of £14.98 per hour + holiday pay
