We're partnering with a highly respected, nationally recognised accountancy and advisory firm to appoint an Audit Assistant Manager into their growing North West audit team. Audit Assistant Manager Responsibilities
Managing a varied portfolio of audit assignments from planning through to completion
Leading fieldwork and overseeing audit delivery to ensure quality and deadlines are met
Building strong client relationships and acting as a key point of contact throughout the audit process
Reviewing audit work completed by junior team members and providing coaching and development support
Supporting Managers and Partners on larger and more complex assignments
Assessing risk areas, reviewing systems and controls, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and audit standards
Contributing to the continued development of junior talent within the team
Supporting wider business development and relationship-building initiatives where appropriate
Audit Assistant Manager Attributes
ACA / ACCA qualified (or overseas equivalent)
Previous experience within an accountancy practice audit environment
Strong technical knowledge of audit and financial reporting standards including UK GAAP and IFRS
Experience supervising, mentoring or reviewing the work of junior team members
A confident communicator who enjoys building strong client relationships
Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
Ambitious and motivated to continue progressing your career within a leading professional services environment
