ADMK Limited was established to develop and manage high quality healthcare facilities at Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The organisation is transitioning from focusing on building healthcare facilities to servicing and maintaining those buildings while establishing a future strategic direction.
Role Overview
The Director of Operations (Facilities) will lead strategic and operational delivery of non‑construction activities for ADMK, safeguarding safe, compliant, high quality facilities management services across all MKUH sites.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategic and operational leadership for non‑construction activities.
* Ensure safe, compliant and high‑quality delivery of hard and soft facilities management services across ADMK buildings on MKUH sites.
* Corporate governance, financial stewardship and operational planning, contributing to annual and five‑year business plans.
* Collaborate with MKUH, NHS England and other stakeholders to align ADMK’s operational delivery with MKUH priorities and support outstanding patient care.
* Lead operational delivery as ADMK expands and support MKUH’s aims to deliver outstanding care to the community.
* As a Board of Directors member, responsible for broader financial and operational planning for the organisation and for high‑quality operational facilities service for the six buildings currently served by ADMK, plus planning future options.
Qualifications & Skills
* Senior leadership experience in estates, facilities or similarly complex service environments.
* Strong skills in contract management, financial and operational performance, people leadership and stakeholder engagement.
* Experience in strategic planning and corporate governance.
* Knowledge of NHS standards and regulatory frameworks for facilities management.
