The Role
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the safe, effective, and efficient use of medicines across the practice. Working closely with our GPs, pharmacists, nurses, and administrative team, you will contribute to improving prescribing systems, medication safety, and patient care.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting medicines reconciliation post-discharge and after clinical appointments
* Supporting audits and medication reviews
* Assisting with long-term condition management protocols
* Liaising with community pharmacies and other healthcare providers
* Supporting the clinical team with drug monitoring and prescribing alerts
* Helping patients understand their medications and promoting adherence
What We’re Looking For
* Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
* Previous experience in primary care, community pharmacy, or hospital setting would be advantageous
* Good working knowledge of medicines management processes
* Excellent communication and IT skills (experience with SystmOne is a bonus)
* A proactive, organised, and patient-focused team player
