Job Description
e are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (HGV C+E) Drivers for ongoing day shifts in the Gateshead area. This role offers consistent work, competitive pay, and regular shift patterns for reliable drivers.
Key Responsibilities
* Safely operate Class 1 vehicles in line with UK transport legislation
* Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects
* Carry out delivery and collection runs as scheduled
* Maintain accurate paperwork and tachograph records
* Adhere to all health & safety and company standards
* Represent the company in a professional manner
Requirements
* Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
* Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
* Previous Class 1 driving experience
* Good understanding of driver hours and WTD regulations
* Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
