Overview
Housing Management Coordinator – Home Group, Norwich. Permanent, part-time (15 hpw). Salary £25,838 - £26,645 per annum, pro rata, plus benefits including Health Cash Plan.
Join Home Group to focus on tenancy support, ensuring homes are safe and well maintained. Provide a housing management service to help customers manage their tenancy and rent accounts with the aim of securing long-term accommodation.
Responsibilities
* Ensure customers’ properties are homes they can be proud of by engaging and involving tenants in their tenancies.
* Assist customers with housing benefit claims to be reflected on their rent accounts.
* Issue and sign warning letters and notices as needed, which may lead to attending court.
* Prepare rooms for new customers and achieve maximum occupancy by turning around vacant/void rooms within set timescales.
* Ensure health and safety compliance and maintain maintenance standards.
Other duties include using technology to create and update support plans, manage benefit claims, and complete tenancy sign-ups. Two 15-hour roles are available, shared with ongoing support from the Senior Client Service Manager and Support Coordinators at Rosary Road.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Experience in managing a housing management caseload and overseeing landlord/housing management duties.
* Knowledge of re-letting rooms or units, collecting rents, and taking formal tenancy action when needed.
* Ability to take on a lead role within the team, offering guidance to colleagues.
* Ability to work on own initiative and positively influence people from diverse backgrounds.
* Proactive, well-organised, and capable of working independently.
* Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across the business and with external partners.

* Flexible working pattern discussed at interview; once agreed, hours are fixed.
* Based at our Norwich service (Rosary Road, Aspland Road & Barnard’s Yard) and oversee move-on properties at Aspland Road & Barnard’s Yard.
* Role involves moving on properties with support from the Senior Client Service Manager & Support Coordinators at Rosary Road.
* DBS check required and paid by us.
