JOB TITLE: Mechanical Supervisor / Mechanical Site Supervisor
LOCATION: Midlands based with UK travel
PACKAGE: £43/£44k basic + paid door to door travel (£4k/annum based on 1hour travel/day)

JOB INFORMATION: The position is a Mechanical Supervisor / Mechanical Site Supervisor with overall responsibility for ensuring installations accurately reflect design specifications and quality standards whilst ensuring projects are competed on time.
* Mentor, develop and manage a team of pipefitters/mechanical engineers of different abilities across the UK offering guidance and support where necessary.
* Work closely with clients, Project Managers and contractors ensuring smooth delivery.
* Undertake mechanical plantroom installations/upgrades/refurbs/mechanical fitting
* Cover a variety of sites including gymnasiums, schools, warehouses/factories, office blocks and so on.

CANDIDATE INFORMATION: The ideal Mechanical Supervisor / Mechanical Site Supervisor will have experience of working on mechanical installations with qualifications in either plumbing or pipefitting
* Able to work well in a team environment, lead by example and be able to read drawings and design specifications and relay instructions clearly
* Experience and knowledge of mechanical installations and site compliance will be essential
* Strong knowledge of plantroom systems: HVAC, chilled water, boilers, pumps, and associated controls.
* Familiar with industry standards such as ASHRAE, CIBSE, and local building codes.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
