We are currently recruiting on behalf of a friendly, traditional, and reputable solicitors practice based on the outskirts of Holmes Chapel. Due to retirement, you will be working amongst a dedicated team of professional, self-motivated, and supportive colleagues, where you will be joining their conveyancing team. Working between 9-5 Monday to Friday, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties…
1. Using the Case Management System to update conveyancing details
2. Onboarding clients
3. Liaising with clients, estate agents and solicitors via telephone, email, and face to face
4. Carrying out property searches
5. Creating legal documents
6. Typing documents and letters from digital dictation when required
7. Processing accounts and completing accounts paperwork
8. Photocopying, filling, and archiving
The ideal candidate will have worked within a Legal Secretary or Paralegal position previously and be comfortable working within a Conveyancing department. Attention to detail is key along with a personable, helpful nature. Someone with the ability to work as part of a team, or on their own initiative is essential. Previous use of a case management system is preferred however training will be given. Excellent holiday entitlement, including 26 days + Bank Holidays.
